Amanda is the Chief Operating Officer of CoolBluLex; as well as the CoolSculpting Master Specialist at Waldman Schantz Turner Plastic Surgery Center. She has been a part of CoolBluLex from the very beginning, and has been instrumental in the growth and high-satisfaction rating of the patient population seeking and being treated by non-invasive procedures.

Amanda, a Kentucky native, graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky and Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine. Her education created opportunities for her to work in various direct patient care positions including her employment in emergency services at the region’s only Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center.

Driven by her passion for serving others and the great pride she takes in her work, Amanda has immersed herself into this specialized field with extensive training from Zeltiq Aesthetics and Allergan, the manufacturers of CoolSculpting®, to master her aesthetic craft. She has successfully completed over 1000 treatments, more per a month than the average practice in the state of Kentucky, which has earned her a crystal plaque awarded by Allergan for her accomplishments.

With her advanced training from CoolSculpting University in Reston, VA and the elite CoolSculpting Master’s course in Pleasanton, CA, Amanda serves as a wealth of knowledge in her advanced CoolSculpting and body assessing techniques and is looked to as a resource and leader for other CoolSculpting practices in the midwest region.

While she is committed to freezing the fat of her patients, you can also find her out and about in Lexington with her friendly pomapoo in hand. Amanda is an avid sports fan that enjoys a round of golf, never misses a Keeneland meet, and frequently attends basketball or football games where she is cheering on the Cats, of course.

Amanda brings understanding, communication, and professionalism to her role at CoolBluLex. Through her education, early professional involvement in healthcare, and personal experience, she discovered how important and incredibly rewarding it is to serve others. Her attention to detail and ability to create a warm, positive patient experience encompasses who she truly is as a person. She currently offers free consultations and would love to help you reach your body sculpting goals today.

A message from Ms. Harms: “I have learned that you can empower someone simply by listening, and that joy can be found by working together to help those who need it. I have learned humility, who I really am at my core, and how to see health care from a patient’s perspective. All these lessons lead me here with a strong vision for CoolBluLex. It is my honor to work with such a highly reputable surgeon at an accomplished practice.”
